WOKEN TO A POEM

By Richard Inya | Category :: Poem

Your absence diminishes me
Your chatty presence exhilarates
Yet oft you are spent like a shadow
Before a dazzling source; gone!
What am I to you, silvery Poem
That you keep visiting me, blinking
And smiling all around my bosom
Tickling me up from my dreams
Always taking with you my sleep?
