I Lost You, You Too Me

By Dr.Ratan Bhattacharjee | Category :: Poem

I lost , I am lost , I lost you too
You came to woo my woe
I made you cry , and the roots
Driven by the winds , the owl hoots

All night like clothes you were torn
Some hopes in despair were born
Stubborn mountains frown and leftover snow
Nothing more but domes of emptiness to show
Spaces in my past weigh on me
As if I forget my tiny human history

My mind's country reveals itself petal by petal
In burning rain, the twilight blue fatal
I knew both pain and defeat
My life is an empty balance sheet.

Your tears came as a buoyant flood
I never saw in a woman's vein so red blood!
O God,what is this Friendship Day ?
The sun is in the sky but no where is the ray!
